Damon Tucker arrived on the Big Island in 1993 to pursue a college education. After realizing that UH Hilo did not have the courses he wanted to take, he transferred to UH Manoa.
After receiving a BA in Communication, he worked for Pacific Resources for Learning and Education for a year, then worked for the State Legislature as a Production Aide for Capital Television, and then was hired by the Department of Education as an Audio Visual Technician where he worked for about 9 years before hightailing it out of there to return to the Big Island where his wifes family is from.
He is married to a local wahine and they have a 5 year old son who means the world to him. Everything he does… He hopes will benefit the future of not only his child… but all children.
